2023 Grants Program

Thank you to the AAMA Grants Committee for their careful review. Four project grants were awarded a total of $50,000.

1st place award in the amount of $20,000 

Unified Armenian Emergency Medicine Residency Program Workshops

Led by Dr. Sharon Chekijian Yale School of Medicine with Curricular Lead Dr. Oriane Longerstaey at Brown University School of Medicine

2nd place award in the amount of $15,000

Healthcare and Social Support to the Vulnerable Elderly Living Alone in Martakert Region of Artsakh without Health Services due to the Blockade Hanganak Non-Governmental Organization

Deadline Extended for 2023 Grants Program: New Deadline August 1, 2023

AAMA is pleased to announce that based on the quality and number of applications we received in 2022 for its Healthcare Grant Program, we are renewing and expanding the program for 2023. For the coming application cycle, we are offering four grants totaling $50K, one each at $5K, $10K, $15K, and $20K. Applications are due by August 1, 2023, and award decisions will be announced on September 1, 2023. Interested applicants should complete and submit both the application and budget forms below.

If you are interested in an AAMA grant, please complete both forms below in entirety. Incomplete applications will not be considered.  Eligibility requirements are outlined in the application form.
