The Boston-based Armenian American Medical Association (AAMA) collaborates with colleagues both in the United States and abroad to improve the delivery of healthcare, medical education, and research in Armenia. The AAMA board has approved the establishment of two AAMA grants that will be open to all individuals, organizations, and non-profits doing health care work in Armenia or Artsakh. The value of one grant is $10,000 and the other is $5,000. Partnership-based applications are encouraged.
The goal of the proposed project should align with the following:
- To promote disease prevention strategies and healthy behavior
- To improve the status of health care and its delivery
- To establish health programs in places where there are none
- To develop evidence-based health care educational and/or training programs
If you are interested in an AAMA grant, please complete both forms below in entirety. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Eligibility requirements are outlined in the application form.
