Excited to share some news! See the Youtube video below that aired on Channel 1 in Armenia on Jan 20, 2021 about the new Cryogen Center/Oxygen Generator Project! This new machine will use less electricity and less waste, and will produce liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen for the entire country, including hospitals, research and the military.
Thank you to everyone who helped us achieve this goal, and special shout out to the collaboration between AMIC, AAMA and the AAMS!
Since the end of the war, in collaboration with doctors in Armenia, AAMA has identified displaced children from Artsakh with epilepsy and injured soldiers that require pain medications.
Working along with the Armenian American Medical Society of Los Angeles and the Armenian Neurologists Association of Yerevan, the Boston AAMA is leading the effort to buy and provide much needed medications to the children from Artsakh and the war injured.
During the past 3 weeks, a group of pharmacists and physicians from these organizations have been able to send some donated medications to Yerevan. Our intention is to buy medications in Armenia and provide them to the patients for a period of 3 months with the possibility of extending this partnership.
If you would like to support this neurology and pain medications project, please use this PayPal link dedicated to the NeuroMeds project to donate online or send check payments written to “Armenian American Medical Association” and mail to PO Box 812641 Wellesley, MA 02482.
Please note “For Neuro Meds” on the check and make your donations by January 31, 2021!
Thank you to all participants and to those who donated during our blood driver fundraiser on December 20th aboard the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Brigham and Women’s Blood Mobile!
